Steven and Heather

About Us

Hi! We are Steven and Heather. We met in 2013 and married in 2015. We have two dogs - Dixie who is a 9-year-old chocolate lab and Liberty who is a puppy bernedoodle.

Steven works in the grocery business and happens to work just a mile from home. Heather works for a local university and mentors students on campus. We live in an older, established neighborhood of Lubbock, TX, and have some of the best neighbors. We live near a busy street but on a quiet block. There is a church near us with a large grass area where a lot of sports teams practice and is the perfect place to play with and walk our dogs.

We love to do things with our family that live in Lubbock - often getting together for birthdays and holidays. We are also very involved in our church. Steven attends and helps with our men's Saturday events and sports events. Heather teaches Wednesday night classes for the preschool children. We are very involved in our Sunday school class that does activities outside of church time as well. We get together often and have formed a family through our class. We also attend a Small Group from church and that group of people are our go-to people for any need we have - big or small. Though we have a lot of family in Lubbock, our church family also supports us.

We love to travel! Each summer, we go camping in Colorado with Heather's immediate family. It is a beautiful place, we stay right on the river, and just enjoy the beauty of CO and the lower summer temperatures. We also visit Heather's family who do not live in Lubbock. We trade family holidays, and we typically travel to be with her family when it is that side of the family's turn. It is always fun and a great time!

We are so excited and ready to add to our family with a baby. There is a lot of love and support surrounding us and we want to share that love with a child that we can bring into our lives. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to bless your child. We know this is a hard choice for you but please know that we are praying for both you and your baby.
