Denise Sowders, M.Ed.
Executive Director/Licensed Child Placing Administrator
Denise Sowders is the Executive Director and Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator. She has worked at AIM Adoptions for more than two decades. After adopting a daughter through the agency, she began to work as an intern. She started working in Maternity Services and has completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology, and in Counseling and Development. She will be working on her PhD in the near future. For several years she was the Director of Family Services She also is the Licensed Child Placing Administrator. She is the mother of 4 — 2 adults adopted through an international adoption and 2 AIM baby girls also adults through transracial adoption. She has four granddaughters, the three oldest keep her busy with trips to Ulta and Soccer games. She spends her free time at church, bible studies, girls' sports, and spending time with family. She enjoys reading, music, and sports. Coffee and Chocolate are her downfalls!
Lori Gonzalez
Executive Assistant
Lori is a mother of two girls from AIM and the first to tell everyone about her daughters and AIM. She is passionate about adoption and is an amazing asset to AIM and especially, to Denise. Lori is Denise's assistant and is keeping her in line!! Once you've met Lori, you will never forget her!!!
Gail Collins
Office Manager
Gail did not realize she was applying at a place near and dear to her heart. Having worked with AIM many years ago as a client, she returns with office management experience. It was definitely God’s plan that she understands what a birth mother goes through and feels. Gail volunteers at several non-profit ministries. She is married to the love of her life! If you can keep her slowed down enough, she will be glad to tell you about her children and grandchildren. She is a fantastic addition to the AIM ministry (especially her organizational skills)!
Khadijah Hudson
Khadijah Hudson is a passionate and people-centered professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She is deeply committed to making a positive impact, especially in the lives of children and families.
